Tarsier: Smallest Primate in the World

This is what we were looking forward to when we went to Bohol last weekend, to finally see the smallest primates in the world – the tarsier!

And we were amazed on how small they are in the flesh! I bet online printing services would find it hard to print their pictures most especially when they were photographed by night. The tarsiers are so small, and they often hide in dark places or on the branches of the trees.

Can you imagine how tiny the baby tarsier is? Look at your thumb! Yes, baby tarsiers are as tiny as your thumb fingers!
