I call my daughter with countless names. Her nickname is Yena. We used to call her Boyengyeng. Often times we call her boyenggay. But people around us were surprised when I call her Aruray one day.
That’s her, my aruray. Ask me where I got the name I don’t know too. But everytime I call her that she smiles. I know that no matter how awful sounding the name goes, she loves it too as much as I love it.
So I was surprised to find this picture of her on facebook. My sister in law’s boyfriend photographed her yesterday and created this little masterpiece. I love it! I can flash it on optoma video projector and with a tears rolling down my face, I’ll shout to the whole world – that’s my daughter, my Aruray!
Aruray is a cute nickname parang yung bulaklak na white… Katuray ba un? hehehe!
